This transaction enables you to check:
- The status of your most recent medical certificate on file.
- The self-certification designation associated with your most recent medical certificate.
- The medical examiner information tied to your most recent medical certificate.
This transaction is intended for commercial driver’s license holders in addition to commercial beginner’s permit holders licensed in South Carolina.
To update your medical certification, you must be examined and certified as medically qualified pursuant to 49 CFR §391.41, by a medical professional listed on the FMSCAs National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Medical examiners are required to electronically transmit proof that you are medically qualified through the National Registry.
