Dealer Transaction Account

General Information

SCDMV is now offering dealers a new way to pay for DMV transactions. In addition to credit cards and checks, SCDMV will allow authorized dealers to pay for services with an account number. SCDMV will bill dealers monthly for all transactions charged to this account.

To register for this service, dealers should establish a billing account with SCDMV by signing a contract through the Procurement office. The dealer will be assigned a dealer account number, which will not be the same as the dealer license or customer number.

All dealers, including those who choose not to establish a dealer account, must submit a Form DLA-12 Dealer Payment Transmittal, with all dealer work.
